LABOURING WOMEN AND SOME POWER

MARCH IN MARCH - with Melissa Parkes MP Fremantle.

A Work in slow Progress is my book; Love in an English Republic. Like my page and share in what I learn about the 17th century: http://www.facebook.com/englishrepublicans

It will be a dream fulfilled to have it published and read widely, even make the High School reading lists! Aswell as a good yarn set during the 1642-1649 English Civil War, when the Crown and Parliament tugged at the bloody ropes of war over their Powers, it will show the reader how our own Australian Westminister Parliaments came from, and the reason why the Monarch has to respectfully knock on the door to the House of Commons.
IN YOUR DREAMS! 17th century women with progressive ideas at Whitehall, Westminster Palace.

During the English Commonwealth(1649-1660) with Lord Protector Oliver Cromwell, the House of Lords was abolished and the King had his head cut off...In Queensland they don't have an Upper House either.

Queensland is notorious for it's absolutist zeal (and populist leaders), like the corrupt but Godly Bjelke Petersen National Government and the short but not sweet Newman LNP Government. With an incredible belief in Union Jack and Monarch symbols, they had no qualms to dis-respect the Separation of Powers between Parliament's Executive and JudiciaryCourts).
